Yesterday in the evening they all got their prizes on the closing ceremony and went to celebrate. For organizers it was also a hard working week but still we managed to celebrate along with them. So, now when everything is over we'll just say that we had a great time and a great new expirience.

First
60.5 km long task is finished!

Although the task was a bit tricky, there were 15 pilots in goal.
Yassen Savov ( BUL ) was 1st with time 2'21''26, 2nd was Stefan Wyss ( CH ) with time 2'28''05 and 3rd Aljaz Valic ( SLN ) with time 2'41''07.
In our HQ, Chris is testing a new feature which will continue to develop - as the pilots return to base and do their download, there is a display screen at www.fastretrieve.com/download which will show the instant position of each pilot relative to those who have downloaded already. But that is before any scoring has been applied and does not take account of leadout points or arrival points so the position can still change. We must say it's quite interesting!
Ulric is going to be realy busy with downloading and we have to start thinking about a new task.

Paragliding World Cup Croatia – Buzet has started!

It was opened in a friendly atmosphere with a short concert of male choir Klapa Boškarin and speeches, a toast and delicious food for pilots and guests.

The organizing team is really busy, Chris & Ulric are working with registrations that are mostly done, and people are really having fun in Buzet.

For us, the organizing team, it's a little bit strange to have so many people here but we are glad to have them and help them in any way we can!

More news and info coming soon…Hope tomorrow we'll have the first discipline!

Have a pleasant time in Buzet!
